Where is Pinnacle Classical Academy located?

PCA rents classroom and extracurricular space at 10701 Baseline Road from Little Rock Church. We are currently exploring options to purchase a long-term facility.

Which grades are offered?

Pre-K4 – 12th grade

How do I submit an application for my child to attend PCA?

Do you offer payment plans for tuition?

We have three options for tuition payment: payment in full, payment by semester, and monthly payment. For more detailed information, please visit the Tuition page.

Do you offer services for students with learning disabilities?

Do you offer transportation to and from school?

At this time, Pinnacle does not offer any type of transportation services to or from school.

Do all the teachers and administration at PCA profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?

Yes, all our board members, faculty, and staff are required to be professing Christians. Additionally, all board members, faculty, and staff must be in full agreement with the Pinnacle Classical Academy Statement of Faith.

Is there an entrance exam for students?

The admission process for all grades involves individual evaluation through a visit with a member of the Admissions Committee. The evaluation includes age-appropriate assessments of math, writing, processing, and oral abilities, among other items. Please visit the Admissions page for more information.

How are the teachers trained to teach classically?

We require thorough in-house training which takes place prior to opening and throughout each school year. In addition, we take advantage of the many excellent teacher training conferences nationwide which offer classical, Christian teacher training.

Can my child enter the school in any grade?

Yes, however, due to the uniqueness of the classical Christian educational curriculum, entering at a higher grade may require additional summer preparation before attending.

Do you offer any extracurricular activities?

Yes, we offer extracurricular activities through both sports and clubs. At present, we compete in the Heartland Christian Athletic Association in cross country and golf. We also have chess, fencing, and writing clubs and are eagerly seeking other activities with which we may glorify God! What curriculum does PCA use?

Pinnacle’s teachers make use of varied and excellent resources, using them as opportunities to train students to think classically. The curriculum is not seen as a predetermined path teachers must follow; instead, it is the means of cultivating habits of the mind. Chosen texts, guides, and literature are based on standards set by our curriculum committee and approved by the board. Some of the publishing companies from which we order texts include Classical Academy Press, Veritas Press, Memoria Press, Logos Press, and Canon Press.

What is the cutoff date for students entering kindergarten?

Students must be five years of age on or before August 1st of the incoming school year in order to begin kindergarten in the fall.

Will students be required to wear a uniform?

Yes, Pinnacle does require students to wear uniforms.

Is any type of financial assistance provided?

Pinnacle utilizes a service called FACTS that provides an online application to assess financial need. FACTS reviews family financial information and makes a recommendation to our financial aid committee, which ultimately determines whether an award will be offered and what amount.
