At the heart of the university model is the notion of increased parental involvement made possible through university-style classroom scheduling.

First and foremost, we believe that God has uniquely charged Christian parents with the privilege and responsibility of educating their children. For families previously involved in a traditional public or private school, it is our hope to see significant blessings from the increased time parents will have to spend with their children. For families who have previously homeschooled, our hope is for benefit from the availability of Pinnacle’s professional instructors, cultivated curriculum and the school’s classroom and organizational structure along with the already well established environment of love and fellowship at PCA.

The university model is well researched and has already been successfully implemented in classical and Christian private schools across America. Moreover, statistics consistently demonstrate the increased likelihood of success for children whose parents are more involved in their education.

PCA does not follow the traditional model, but similar to it, in that we offer four shorter days each week. This then provides families with extra time together and allows parents, our co-teachers, to be a more integral part of their child’s education.
